    Common questions

    You’ve probably noticed when browsing our range that majority of our Plugs & Tunnels come in either Stone, Cats Eye or Wood. This is for a few reasons:

    1- The natural materials provide a comfy fit and less ear gunk (yes, the last point is a good thing). 

    2- Stone plugs are unique and depending who you ask may offer some kind of wizardry just when you need it. Each cut is different to the next and no two are the same adding to their coolness.

    Stone is generally alot heavier than the wood and glass variations, which can also a positive at gradually stretching without even really trying.

    Go big or go home baby.

    3- Nothing more organic than a big wood in your ear. Wait, what?  We mean to say that wood is organic in nature and super light.  Perfect to add an earthy kind of vibe to your style. Keep your wood clean by washing with a damp cloth (water only peeps) and lube em up often with oil to keep them looking smiiiick. 😉

    We're all about quality here, so that means, only the best materials for your lobes.

    We are BIG on SIZE here at SAUCE.  But that doesnt mean you'll find your size here.

    Our entire business was modeled around giant gauges. So if your holes are too small you will have to stop back when your lobes are so big you have something to write home about.

    There is a big BUT…if you do have impressive lobes and have your eyes on something that isn't in your size, please hit us up and we’ll see what we can do.

    My guess is, if you’re this far into stretching your own lobes you probably know a thing or two about lobe care - so the below is for those filthy animals that need a reminder.

    Hygeine - super important! Wash em daily while you’re washing everything else.

    Self massage - also important! At least once a day…Or when you feel inspired

    Oil / lube  - the most important! Especially when the seasons change, winter can be a real prick and it’s not uncommon for your lobes (or lobe) to get a little shrinkage. A little oil in a tight hole can go a long way.

    Good question! We always wondered this too when first getting into teardrop shaped plugs.

    The short answer - the same size as your circular plugs.

    Don't ask us how. We are no good at math.
