Frequently asked questions
How long does shipping take?
We ship every weekday using Australia Post.
- Express: Typically around 2 business days.
- Standard: Usually 2–4 business days, depending on where you’re located.
Orders placed before 12pm (AEST) are generally dispatched the same day. We don’t dispatch on weekends or public holidays.
What if my plugs don’t fit?
Because of the nature of our products, we don’t offer size exchanges. Once a pair has been worn, we can’t re-sell them (sharing used plugs is a bit gross).
That said, we’d much rather keep you around than leave you disappointed. If you’ve ordered the wrong size, get in touch and we’ll see if we can work something out.
Why do 40mm+ sizes sell out so quickly?
Simple—they’re popular.
Large sizes are much harder to source than standard gauges, and production runs are usually much smaller. When new stock lands, our big-lobe crew tends to snap it up pretty quickly.
If you see your size available, don’t wait too long.
Why don’t you stock smaller gauges?
We specialise in larger sizes.
There are already plenty of great stores catering to smaller gauges, but once you get into the larger sizes, options become pretty limited. We’d rather do one thing really well than try to stock everything.
Where is Sauce based?
We’re based on the Gold Coast, Australia, and every order is packed and shipped from here.
How often do you restock?
It depends on the style.
If something flies off the shelves, we’ll usually bring it back. If it doesn’t, once it’s gone, it’s gone.
We’re always keeping an eye on what’s popular so we can spend our time bringing back the styles people actually want.
Are your plugs sold as a pair?
Yes.
Every product on our store is sold as a pair, unless the product description specifically says otherwise.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we only ship within Australia.
New Zealand is coming soon.
How do I care for natural stone plugs?
Natural stone is durable, but it still deserves a little care.
- Clean them with warm water and a mild soap.
- Dry them thoroughly before wearing.
- Avoid dropping them on hard surfaces, as some stones can chip or crack.
- Store them somewhere safe when you’re not wearing them.
- Keep your lobes moisturised with a quality ear balm or jojoba oil for the most comfortable fit.
